"Brilliant and thought provoking" – The Scotsman

Sometimes We Play creates multi-diciplinary performances and sound installations for diverse audiences in theatre and public spaces. The company's work is based on a collaborative approach led by Jamie Fletcher and Dick Bonham. Working as a duo and with a range of other artists from different disciplines Sometimes We Play has toured all over the UK performing in abandoned shops, train stations, city streets, parks and festivals, as well as receiving commissions and residences from some of the UK's most innovative arts centres and theatre venues, including Live Theatre (Newcastle), Arc (Stockton), Theatre in the Mill (Bradford), The Arches (Glasgow) and BAC, Battersea Arts Centre (London).

Sometimes We Play also produces a range of inspiring theatre and music educational workshops and participatory programmes in schools, universities, arts venues and local communities. We cover a broad range of topics for all ages and abilities, from performance techniques with disadvantaged young people working towards their Arts Awards, to percussion workshops for people with special educational needs.
